PixAI Community Contest Creation Guide & Important Notes

Through all the themed contests we hosted, we’ve seen just how much passion and creativity the PixAI community brings to every challenge.

To keep that creative spirit going, PixAI is adding a Contest Creation feature that allows our users to create and host Community Contests. With this, you will be able to design and host your own themed competition.

In the contest set up process, you can choose the required model, LoRA, and theme. You will also be able to set the contest reward amount and fund it. Come host your own contest calls and invite people from the community to join to show off their creativity!

This following guide explains how to create a Community Contest, how the process works, and what to keep in mind before submitting your contest.

For participation rules and submission instructions, please refer to the [PixAI Contest Rules and Participation Guide].

Let’s get started!

Eligibility to Host a Contest

To ensure quality and fairness for all Community Contests, all prospective contest hosts must pass an eligibility check.

You may apply to host a contest only if you meet all of the following requirements:

30
Days Since Registration
Your account has been registered for at least 30 days.
Eligibility is determined based on your account’s actual registration date.
10
Public Artworks
You have at least 10 public artworks posted.
Private and deleted artworks do not count.
Account in Good Standing
The system reviews your public content and activity.
Accounts with abnormal activity or content that’s not suitable for public display won’t be eligible.

How to Create a Contest

Creating a contest takes 5 steps. Go to the [Community Contests] page and click [Host a Contest] in the top-right corner to begin.

1
Step 1: Contest Info
Contest Poster

Recommended size: 1920 × 1080 (16:9 aspect ratio).

Your poster must be appropriate for all audiences. Anything containing violence, sensitive content, or other material that violates the PixAI Community Guidelines won’t be approved.

Title & Description

Pick a clear title that fits your contest theme — something like “Spring Music Festival Contest.”

In the description, share the inspiration behind the contest and the creative direction you have in mind. A strong description helps participants understand the theme and come up with relevant submissions.

Supported Languages

You can provide contest information in:

EnglishTraditional ChineseJapaneseKorean

You can choose one language or add multiple versions.

2
Step 2: Set the Event Schedule
Start Time

Reviews can take up to 3 days, so the earliest you can set your start time is 4 days after submission.

Once submitted, the contest will automatically start at the scheduled time if it passes review.

End Time

The contest must run for at least 7 days and no more than 90 days. If your dates fall outside of this range, the system won’t let you submit — double-check before you finalize.

Result Announcement Time

Pick when the results will be announced. The system automatically ranks artworks by likes and distributes rewards after the results are confirmed.

The announcement time must be at least 1 day after the contest ends, and no more than 2 weeks after.

3
Step 3: Define the Contest Rules

As long as everything complies with PixAI contest rules, you’re free to set your own event tag, model restrictions, and LoRA requirements.

Event Tag

Set a clear, concise tag for your contest — up to 30 characters. Tags that are meaningless or violate the PixAI Community Guidelines won’t be approved.

Model / LoRA Settings

· If you specify only a model or only a LoRA, participants must use it to qualify.

· If you specify both, participants can use either one to qualify.

4
Step 4: Set the Prize Pool and Rewards
Prize Pool

· The total prize pool must be at least 50,000 credits and must be a multiple of 100.

· Only paid credits count — free credits don’t apply.

· Make sure your account balance is sufficient before submitting.

Reward Distribution
Mode Description
Tiered Split Distribute rewards across 4 ranks at a 4:3:2:1 ratio.
Winner Takes All Award the entire prize pool to the 1st-place winner.
Top 3 Equal Split Distribute rewards among the top 3 at a 34% / 33% / 33% ratio.
Custom Set the reward amount and number of winners for each rank.
Note: A higher-ranked winner cannot receive a smaller reward than a lower-ranked winner. You must allocate the entire prize pool before submitting.
Credit Deduction and Refund Policy

· The corresponding paid credits will be deducted immediately when you submit your application.

· Once your application is approved, the deducted credits will be distributed as contest rewards.

· If your application is not approved, the deducted paid credits will be automatically refunded to your original account.

· If some rewards remain unclaimed after the contest ends, the undistributed paid credits will be automatically refunded to the host’s account.

You can view the relevant records in [Membership & Credits].

Step 5: Preview and Submit

The preview page shows how your contest will appear after it is created.

Carefully check the title, description, event schedule, total prize pool, and other details. To make changes, click [Previous Step].

Note: You cannot edit your contest information after submitting your application. Make sure everything is correct before submitting.

You may also click [Save as Draft] at any time. Your progress will be preserved even if you refresh or navigate away from the page.

Contest Review Process

To ensure fairness and make sure contest content is suitable for audiences of all ages, every contest must be reviewed by the PixAI team before it goes live. The review process may take up to 3 days.

During review, the contest will be evaluated based on its content, reward settings, and compliance with community guidelines. Once approved, the contest will start as scheduled and can be found under [Community Contests] and [My Contests] → [Hosted by Me]. If your application is not approved, the deducted paid credits will be refunded to your account.

Content Review Criteria

To ensure contest content aligns with the theme and is suitable for public display, the official team will review the following:

The contest description and poster must not contain violence, sensitive content, or any other material that violates the PixAI Community Guidelines.

The Event Tag must match the contest theme and must not be meaningless or unidentifiable.

Selected models and LoRAs must not contain sensitive content that is unsuitable for platform-wide display.

The contest must not contain malicious links, scams, advertisements, or other inappropriate promotional content.

The contest must not contain exaggerated, false, or misleading claims.

The contest must not contain any other content that the PixAI team considers unsuitable for public display.

Check your contest details carefully before submitting your application to improve your chances of approval and avoid delays.

Common Reasons for Rejection

The poster or contest description violates the PixAI Community Guidelines.

Content is entered in the wrong language field.

The Event Tag is unrelated to the contest theme, meaningless, or difficult to identify.

The contest information is incomplete or inconsistent.

If your application is rejected, review the relevant sections, make the necessary changes, and submit it again.

Contest Operation and Reward Distribution

Once the contest begins, eligible artworks that comply with the contest rules are automatically included in the ranking system. Hosts do not need to manage entries manually.

After the contest ends, the system calculates the final rankings and processes reward distribution and refunds automatically. The entire process, including ranking calculation, result settlement, and reward distribution, is automated. No additional action is required from the host.

PixAI’s Rights

PixAI reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the review, modification, and interpretation of all contest-related content. If a contest involves rule violations, disputes, technical issues, or other circumstances that affect fairness, PixAI may:

— Suspend or end the contest early

— Remove the relevant contest pages

— Adjust the contest results or rankings

— Disqualify participants or revoke rewards

Any related decisions will be communicated through system notifications.

FAQ

Q  Can I host multiple contests at the same time?
A  Yes. As long as each application meets the creation requirements, PixAI does not limit the number of contests you can create.
Q  Can I change the contest requirements after the contest starts?
A  No. Once you submit your application, you cannot edit the contest title, description, poster, requirements, or other details. Review everything carefully before submitting.
Q  Do I need to specify a model or LoRA when creating a contest?
A  No. This is optional. However, if you specify a model or LoRA, submitted artwork must meet the corresponding requirements to be included in the rankings.
Q  When are reward credits refunded? Will they remain paid credits or be converted into free credits?
A  Reward credits are typically refunded to the host’s account in the following cases: if the contest application is not approved, the deducted prize pool credits will be refunded in full; if the contest is held successfully but some rewards remain unclaimed, the unused credits will be refunded. Refunded or unused prize pool credits will be returned as paid credits. They will not be converted into free credits.
