How to Delete Your PixAI Account on the Website
Deleting your PixAI account on desktop takes three quick steps. Make sure you’ve cancelled any active subscription first (see the warning below).
Step 1 — Open your account Settings
Visit the PixAI website and sign in. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner, then choose Settings from the dropdown menu.
Step 2 — Open the “Misc” tab
Inside the Settings page, look at the left-hand navigation and select the tab labeled Misc. This is where all secondary account controls live, including account deletion.
Step 3 — Click “Delete Your Account”
Scroll to the bottom of the Misc tab and click Delete Your Account. A confirmation prompt will appear to make sure the action is intentional. Confirm to start the secure deletion process.
❗ Important — Cancel your subscription first
You cannot delete your PixAI account while you have an active subscription. Before you proceed, make sure that:
- Your plan has expired or been cancelled.
- You are no longer in an active billing period.
If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, or another platform, cancel auto-renewal there first. Once your billing period ends, the deletion option will become available. This safeguard prevents billing issues and ensures your purchases are properly closed before the account is removed.
Restoring Your Account Within the 30-Day Window
Your data matters. To protect it, we apply a 30-day recovery window after you initiate deletion. During this period your account is deactivated but not yet erased—giving you a full month to change your mind.
Account status during the 30-day period
While in the deletion queue, your account is functionally suspended. You will be unable to:
- Make changes to your profile or settings
- Claim daily credits
- Generate new images
- Like, comment on, or bookmark content
How to restore your account
Changing your mind is simple. Within the 30-day window:
- Log in to the PixAI website as you normally would.
- The system will detect your account’s status and show a notification with a Restore button.
- Click Restore.
Your account is immediately and fully reinstated, with all your artwork, history, and data completely intact.
🚫 Permanent Deletion: The Point of No Return
Once the 30-day recovery period ends, your account is permanently scheduled for deletion. This action is final and cannot be undone. Please be aware that:
- All your generated artwork, models, and data will be permanently erased.
- Your account history, credits, and favorites will be lost.
Alternatives to Full Deletion
A full account deletion may not be what you actually need. Consider these lighter options first:
- Change your username: Create a new identity by updating your @username in Settings.
- Update your email: Free up your current email address by assigning a different one to your PixAI account.
- Take a break: Simply log out. Your portfolio and data stay securely stored, ready for whenever you return.
How to Delete Your Account on the Mobile App
The mobile app is used to initiate account deletion, but it does not display the 30-day deletion progress or allow you to restore your account. To monitor the countdown or trigger a restore, you must visit the PixAI website.
Deleting your account on iOS
Step 1 — Open the “Me” tab and tap your profile
Open the PixAI app and tap the Me icon in the bottom navigation bar. At the top of the Me screen, tap your profile to open your account settings.
Step 2 — Select “Account”
Scroll down within your profile until you see the Account option. Tap it to open the account management menu.
Step 3 — Tap “Delete Account”
You’ll find a red Delete Account button at the bottom. Tap it to begin the secure deletion process. A final confirmation appears to make sure this is what you want.
Heads up: You will not be able to delete your account if you have an active premium membership. If you’re subscribed, cancel through the Apple App Store first. Once the billing period ends, you can proceed with the steps above.
Deleting your account on Android
The Android flow is virtually identical to iOS, with only minor visual differences. Access Delete Account the same way: Me tab → tap your Profile → Account → Delete Account.
