How to Access Flow Edit — PixAI’s AI Image Editing Tool
There are two ways to launch the AI image editing tool inside PixAI, depending on where you are in your creative workflow.
Open Flow Edit from the Generation Page Sidebar
On the PixAI generation page, open the left sidebar and look under the Generation section. Click Flow Edit to enter the editing workspace.
You’ll be redirected to the editing page, where you can choose to continue working in your existing workspaces or click ‘Start New Workspace’ to select and edit any of your generated artworks.
This is the recommended entry point for serious editing sessions where you want access to the full multi-step AI editing workflow with version history.
Quick AI Image Edits from the Generation Panel
Want to tweak an image without leaving the generation page? Click the speech bubble icon next to any generated image to open the quick edit window, where you can edit on the spot:
Choose your editing mode from the dropdown at the top:
- Edit with Text — Describe the change in natural language (e.g., “Change the background to a beach”, “Brighten the image”) and let AI handle the rest.
- Edit by Area Selection — Prefer pixel-level control? Switch to this mode to mask a specific region and edit only that area. (Learn more in our Image Editing guide.)
- Pick an editing model — choose from PixAI Edit (v4.0), PixAI Reference Pro (v1.0), or PixAI Edit Lite (v1.0) depending on the quality and style you need.
- Type your prompt and hit Generate to apply the edit instantly — no need to leave the generation panel.
